The 2016 American Music Awards took place this year at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, the awards being held on one of the few days in L.A. when it was a soggy mess and rain was in the forecast. But the downpour didn’t deter music’s biggest and brightest from coming out, as Bruno Mars opened the show with his latest his “24K Magic” off his most recent album of the same name.
