The summer show, which will also feature special guests David Essex and Lulu, will take place as part of Heritage Live Festivals weekend of shows at the venue, and is the first event announced for 2025, set against one of the country’s most stunning backdrops.
Tickets for the show will be available on presale on Wednesday 4th December at 9am. Customers MUST pre-register at https://arep.co/p/thebeachboys for presale access.
Tickets will then go on general sale on Friday 6th December at 9am from AXS.com/HeritageLive
For more than six decades, The Beach Boys’ music has been an indelible part of American history. Their brilliant harmonies conveyed simple truths through sophisticated, pioneering musical arrangements. The Beach Boys transcended their music and have come to represent Californian culture. They provided fans around the world with a passport to experience love, youthful exuberance, and surf culture.
Since the band’s co-founder, lead-singer and chief lyricist Mike Love penned the lyrics to The Beach Boys’ first hit, “Surfin’” (1961), dozens of the bands chart toppers have become eternal anthems of American youth: “Surfin’ USA,” “Surfer Girl,” “Fun, Fun, Fun,” “I Get Around,” “California Girls,” “Help Me Rhonda,” “Barbara Ann,” “Good Vibrations,” “Wouldn’t It Be Nice,” “Rock and Roll Music” and “Kokomo.”
The Beach Boys have sold over 100 million records worldwide and have received more than 33 RIAA Platinum and Gold record awards. The Rock n Roll Hall of Famers were also honoured at the 2001 Grammy Awards with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Sounds Of Summer: The Very Best Of The Beach Boys, Capitol/EMI's 30-track collection of the band's biggest hits, has achieved triple-platinum success with sales of more than three million copies in the U.S. since its release.
The Beach Boys are led by lead singer and critically acclaimed chief lyricist Mike Love, who, along with longtime member Bruce Johnston, musical director Brian Eichenberger, Christian Love, Tim Bonhomme, Jon Bolton, Keith Hubacher, Randy Leago and John Wedemeyer continue the legacy of the iconic band. This concert will not feature Brian Wilson, Al Jardine or David Marks.
Internationally renowned singer, composer and actor David Essex first shot to fame as a musical theatre actor before going on to enjoy a remarkable career that has combined concerts, records, composing, films and television with striking success.
He has written, recorded and produced albums that have sold millions of copies worldwide. He’s also had twenty-three Top 30 singles in Britain alone. These include the Grammy© nominated “Rock On” which not only topped the charts in Britain and the USA but sold over one million copies. Subsequent singles followed such as “Lamplight”, “Hold Me Close” and “Gonna Make You A Star” which made David a household name.
Still the name on everybody’s lips, Lulu is celebrating 60 years in the business starting at age 15 with her monster of a hit ‘Shout’, alongside some unparalleled milestones throughout her career.
Lulu made her film debut opposite Sidney Poitier in ‘To Sir, with Love’, and also performed the title track which was a No.1 hit in the US. She went on to win the Eurovision Song Contest with the song ‘Boom Bang-a-Bang’, had a hit with the title theme to the Bond classic ‘The Man with the Golden Gun’, joined forces for massive hits with both David Bowie and Take That, and has just completed her final sold out tour ‘Champagne for Lulu’.
