Some of North Tyneside’s best-loved choirs will take to the stage this November in support of Age UK North Tyneside.

Linskill Community Choir, Backworth Male Voice Choir and Can’t Sing Choir will perform a special Christmas concert at Playhouse Whitley Bay on Thursday 28 November, starting at 7pm.

The evening will be filled with festive favourites where the audience will be welcome to join in the fun.

Age UK North Tyneside is a local charity working in the community to support older people, their families, and carers. Their mission is to help people make more of life by providing a wide range of services, advocacy, and support.

Dawn McNally, Group Chief Executive said “The timing of the concert will provide an opportunity to highlight our work and the difference we make as we head into winter, a time when older people need us the most. All donations made will go to supporting older people in North Tyneside to allow them to make more of life, particularly to help address poverty and social isolation and loneliness. We are all very much looking forward to the concert and hope to see many of customers there too.”

The event is organised by North Tyneside Council.
