Melek Mosso Biography

Mosso was born on November 11, 1988 in Kayseri. She started music by composing her first composition at the age of seven. At the age of nine, she took baglama and Turkish Folk Music lessons at Denizli Municipal Conservatory. She then continued her education at the Fine Arts High School. She started playing the flute during high school. The real surname of the singer, who completed her university education at Adnan Menderes University, Department of Music Teaching, is 'Davarcı'. The name Melek Mosso comes from the Italian word 'Mosso', which is a musical term and means 'getting faster and faster'.
After completing her education, she came to Istanbul and increased her recognition by making music on the Kadıköy - Beşiktaş ferry line. She also gave piano, side flute, solfeggio and harmony lessons. She performed on various stages by making swing and jazz concept music with her band called Zbam The Band, which she founded with her musician friends.

Mosso's cover of Yıldız Tilbe's song "Vursalar Ölemem", garnered over 100 million views on YouTube. Together with No.1, she voiced the song "Hiç Işık Yok", which was included on the soundtrack for the TV series Çukur and viewed over 100 million times on YouTube. The song was later featured in No.1's album Siyah Bayrak.[4] In 2018, her song "Kedi" was played by various radio stations in Turkey.
