After a private reading of The Prince of Egypt, a new stage musical based on the 1998 DreamWorks Animation film, was held in London, there was great speculation about whether or not we would see The Prince of Egypt tickets on sale in London soon. Well, we have been delivered. It has been announced that The Prince of Egypt will begin performances at the West End's Dominion Theatre 5 February 2020 for an initial 32-week engagement ending 12 September 2020.
The Prince of Egypt has music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz (Wicked) and a book by Philip LaZebnik (Disney’s Mulan and Pocahontas). The incredible award-winning team of creatives behind The Prince of Egypt are set to bring a musical theatre experience like no other to the West End stage.
