Lord of the Dance Biography

Michael Flatley’s Lord Of The Dance: Dangerous Games – a spectacular new staging of the traditional masterpiece - has its West End premiere at the legendary London Palladium with an exclusive and limited run starting on 1st September 2014.

With all the visceral precision and thrills of the original, Lord Of The Dance: Dangerous Games features new staging, new costumes and choreography with very special guest former Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle, who joins the production as The Goddess Erin performing brand new title track ‘Dangerous Games’. With 40 of the world’s most outstanding young performers directed by Michael Flatley, and new music by composer Gerard Fahy, this latest iteration combines the best of tradition with all the excitement of new music and dance.

“I’m blown away by the remarkable talent and abilities of the great cast we’ve gathered.” says Flatley, adding “coming to the West End is like coming home and the Palladium, with its magnificent stage,  feels like the perfect fit for our show.”

With 200 plus dates planned across 15 countries over the next 18 months, a sneak preview of Lord Of The Dance: Dangerous Games can be seen in London’s Trafalgar Square on 22nd June as part of the West End Live Festival; and a special one-off performance to launch the global arena tour will be held at The SSE Arena, Wembley on 30 October celebrating Lord Of The Dance’s unique record of Highest Number Of Tickets ever sold for a Wembley event.
