ShamrockFest has earned the reputation as being America’s largest and most entertaining St. Patrick’s Day festival for good reason. Every year they throw a killer party featuring strong flowing beer, plenty of shenanigans and the hottest Irish rock bands around. This year’s lineup is spectacular, but on Mar 11, 2017 the thousands heading to Washington, DC will one thought in mind; the must-see acts for this year are without a doubt Dropkick Murphys, House of Pain and Coolio.

Dropkick Murphys are ShamrockFest regulars and never fail to come out swinging with cranking guitars, catchy hooks and ballsy vocals. These witty and brash songwriters are absolutely phenomenal live. Their playful frenetic energy is contagious, crowds are quickly caught up in dance and song.  The foot-stomping, adrenaline-charged mayhem is a glorious spectacle to behold. Dropkick Murphys just released a new album, 11 Short Stories of Pain & Glory, in Jan as well as a video for their single “Paying My Way.”

Saint Patrick's Day 2017 marks the 25th anniversary of House of Pain's huge crossover hit “Jump Around.” The video for the single, which was filmed during the parade in NYC, helped launch the song to become one of Hip Hop’s most infectious anthems and House of Pain  into worldwide superstardom. Everlast, Danny Boy and DJ Lethal proudly celebrate their Irish-American heritage during their performances on stage by drinking remarkable amounts of alcohol and raising holy hell. Everlast is also known for his successful solo career and the multi-platinum album Whitey Ford Sings the Blues, which featured the hit track “What It’s Like.”

Grammy award-winning and multi-platinum recording artist Coolio’s extraordinary music mastery has earned him three MTV awards, two Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards, a World Music award, six Grammy award nominations, two Billboard Music awards, two ASCAP awards and three MTV video awards. His track “Gangsta’s Paradise” was featured on the Dangerous Minds movie soundtrack and won him a Grammy for Best Rap Performance, Solo. This unique rapper brilliantly balances a mix of gritty, street lyrics with funky pop music. His new single “Kill Again” comes out soon.
