Multiple Grammy-award winning artist Sheryl Crow kicks off Tanglewood's Popular Artist Series Friday, June 19 with the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra and conducted by Keith Lockhart. Canadian Grammy and Juno award-winning Jazz singer and pianist Diana Krall will take the stage on Sunday, June 21. San Francisco Grammy award-winning and platinum recording rock band, Huey Lewis and the News will appear at Tanglewood, having released a 30th anniversary edition of their hit album, Sports and plan to release a new album this year. Legendary performer Tony Bennett continues his tour with Grammy award-winning Lady Gaga promoting their album together, Cheek to Cheek and will come to Tanglewood on Tuesday, June 30. The original Elphaba from Broadway smash musical "Wicked," and the voice behind global hit, "Let it Go" from "Frozen," spend one evening multiplatinum Broadway superstar, Idina Menzel on Saturday, August 29 at 7 p.m.
Celebrate the 4th of July once again at Tanglewood with the return of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee James Taylor and his All-Star band. Charismatic Broadway stage and screen starlet Bernadette Peters will sing some of her most memorable hits conducted by Keith Lockhart on Friday, July 5.
Take in one of Broadway’s most accomplished composers as the Boston Pops present a Sondheim tribute with Sondheim on Sondheim in Concert Saturday, June 20. Additional highlights include a group that made a splash last year with the Boston Pops with eye popping aerial flyers acrobats, contortionists, jugglers and more taking the stage in a stirring interpretation of classical masterpieces. Cirque de la Symphonie will dazzle audiences on Friday, August 21. Some returning favorites include the annual Tanglewood Food and Wine Classic from Thursday, August 6 through Sunday, August 9, the return of Film Night conducted by John Williams and David Newman on Saturday, August 22.
