Indie darlings The Lumineers have announced a two-night run at Denver’s Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre. The band will welcome special guest Andrew Bird as support. As an ace fiddler, not to mention a warbling whistler, Bird will fit right in at Fiddler’s. The shows will take place Friday and Saturday,  Aug. 25 and 26. A special pre-sale will begin Thursday, March 2 at 10:00 a.m. MST. General on sales get underway on sale Friday, March 3 at 10:00 a.m. MST. The two-night run at Fiddler’s will cap off The Lumineers massive “Cleopatra World Tour.” Denver is a fitting place for the band to end the extensive tour as they are based out of the Mile High City. The continuation of the “Cleopatra World Tour” kicks off Feb. 28 in Dallas at Verizon Theatre at Grand Prairie with special guests Kaleo and SUSTO (read our interview with SUSTO). The tour will then head through the South, Midwest, Northeast, West Coast, Canada and Europe before they return to Denver for their hometown tour closer.
