Summertime is coming to a close, and in Columbia, Missouri there’s a very special reason why they’re looking forward to the change of season. Early autumn in Columbia means that it’s time to enjoy three days of good music and good food in an outdoor setting, and the city’s annual Roots N Blues N BBQ Festival provides just that. Celebrating a 10th anniversary this year and set for Sept. 30 – Oct. 2, the festival will once again take place in Stephens Lake Park where acts like the Avett Brothers, Grace Potter, Ben Folds, and Jason Isbell highlight a star-packed line-up.

Roots N Blues N BBQ shows take place on two stages, and in-between the two are dozens of vendors serving up delicious BBQ and other foods, snacks, and drinks. There will also be a ticketing option where festival-goers can go “Whole Hog” and have access to a special upfront viewing area at both stages, a lounge area where small plate meals and snacks will be served and private restrooms. Music starts at 4:30 on opening day (Friday) and at 11:00 on Saturday and Sunday. Here’s a look at the line-up.
