Season 3 of 'Gabriel Iglesias Presents Stand-Up Revolution' premieres on Oct. 3

The third season of “Gabriel Iglesias Presents Stand-Up Revolution” is set to premiere on Comedy Central on Friday, Oct. 3 at Midnight EST. The show will feature Iglesias and some of his favorite comedians performing brand new stand-up acts.

Genre-bending musicians Ozomatli are returning as the show's house band and Martin Moreno will reprise his role as the show's announcer and guest commentator. This season features several great comedians including Ian Bagg, Shaun Latham, Mike Merrill and Mark Viera.

The debut episode of “Gabriel Iglesias Presents Stand-Up Revolution” Season three is poised to be a non-stop laugh-fest as Kabir Singh and Lance Patrick perform hilarious sets. According to Comedy Central, Iglesias will spend the first episode back bemoaning the loss of a member of Ozomatli, who is off enjoying his honeymoon.

The new season will also feature new segments of “Hey It’s Fluffy,” animated shorts that give fans insight into the life of Iglesias. In the first cartoon, viewers will learn how Fluffy started wearing his signature shorts.

“Gabriel Iglesias Presents Stand-Up Revolution” Season three is coming on the heels of Iglesias' wildly successful film “The Fluffy Movie.” The film, which debuted on July 25, 2014, has already raked in over $2.8 million at the box office. Iglesias is continuing to make waves in the film industry appearing in the animated feature “The Book of Life” and reprising his role as Tobias in “Magic Mike XXL.” He will also be returning to scripted television in the brand new sitcom “Cristela,” which premieres on ABC this fall.

Iglesias has been featured on just about every big-name talk show on television including “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,” “The Arsenio Hall Show” and “Conan.” He has also made the rounds of daytime television with memorable appearances on “Steve Harvey” and “Good Morning America.”

Comedy Central will provide highlight clips and previews of “Gabriel Iglesias Presents Stand-Up Revolution” on its “Stand-Up Revolution” and CC:Stand-Up web sites. Each episode will also be made available in the Comedy Central App the day after it airs. The DVD of “Gabriel Iglesias Presents Stand-Up Revolution” will be released on Tuesday, November 11, just in time for the holiday shopping season.
