92.9 KJEE has lined up a stellar team of entertainers for its 13th Annual Summer Round-Up, including Empire of the Sun, Bishop Briggs, Judah & The Lion and Soul Majestic. The bands will rock the gorgeous Santa Barbara Bowl on Saturday, June 10.
Australian duo Empire of the Sun recently released the album Two Vines, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Dance/Electronic albums chart. On the danceable lead single “High and Low,” the band shares its optimism for the future: "We got the best years ahead, we know we do...All the universe is humming with me, and all because we trust two vines.”
Bishop Briggs veered into the fast lane last year with her haunting songs “River" and "Wild Horses." The UK-born singer-songwriter won't have to travel far for the SB gig: "For me, Los Angeles meant opportunity and to pursue all those dreams,” she told Fader of living in Los Angeles. “The coolest part about being in L.A. is whether you like it or not, you're really thrown into the real world. I would play to audiences with three people, sometimes five or six. But it's what gives you experience and really makes you appreciate everyone.”
Judah & The Lion will no doubt perform that song you still can't get out of your head; local band Soul Majestic will make sure the chill vibes stay strong. Last year's KJEE bash featured Fitz & The Tantrums, Wolfmother and The Strumbellas. Grab tickets to KJEE's 13th Annual Summer Round-Up on June 10 via AXS right here.
