LA's exciting comedy festival, Riot LA, has announced additional comedy acts for the 2017 festival, which will take place in downtown Los Angeles from Jan. 19-22. Todd Barry, Rachel Bloom, Ron Funches, Nikki Glaser, Kyle Kinane, Eugene Mirman, Tig Notaro and more have joined the already massive lineup. Previously announced comics who will appear alongside the new wave of performers are Mel Brooks, Felipe Esparza and Ali Wong. Both festival passes and individual tickets to the new announcements will be on sale Friday at 10 AM PST. Previously announced individual shows are currently on sale.

Riot LA is special in a sea of festivals because it is put on by Goldenvoice, the geniuses behind Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival and Stagecoach: California's Country Music Festival. They truly know how to put together a good show, offering Riot LA fans a unique lineup of specialty shows and diverse artists. The festival will take place around a central area called The Lot, which will operate behind the Orpheum Theater and feature the entertainment group Super Deluxe, known for their online videos and TV series. Super Deluxe will be running live streams, VR gaming experiences, motion-sensor art and a meme photo booth. The Lot has been compared to a 21 and up only fun fair, the experience solidified by a ferris wheel, arcade, food trucks and of course a bar.
