Carefree garage rock foursome Hinds and Chicago’s Twin Peaks have been on a well-paired tour for most of April. The two outfits also hit Coachella this past weekend and fresh off a tour of the desert, the groups slid into The Regent for a gig on Tuesday (April 18). Hinds came on first, and though guitarist and vocalist Carlotta Cosials had some technical issues, that didn’t stop the all-ages crowd from storming the stage along with the Twin Peaks dudes towards the end of the set. Twin Peaks just released their first live album Urbs In Horto last month, and while it’s a decent document of their live prowess, it doesn’t quite match up to the band’s unrestrained energy and wildness in person. The band ripped the top off with “Butterfly” and continued with an unrelenting set that was as impressive as it was fun. Check out photos above.
