About Benjamin Steer
Genre
Pop
Benjamin Steer is a 21-year-old British-American artist and songwriter whose music is a catchy, introspective and deeply moving selection of stories about modern love and life. Ben draws inspiration musically from artists like early days Ed Sheeran, Myles Smith and Mackenzy Mackay as well as his contemporary peers like Michael Sanzone & Thomas Day. His sound is a fresh hybrid of acoustic and indie pop that’s equally at home closing out a rom-com as soundtracking a night bus ride home after yet another bad Hinge date.
Benjamin crafts songs that depict the complex feelings of navigating the unpredictable, often precarious world of dating and relationships in your 20s. His songs are deeply personal yet universally relatable, and always delivered with a profound sense of humour that one can only achieve through actually living the experiences in question.
