Archer Black is cutting edge orchestral indie rock. The Los Angeles based outfit often appears on stage with a dozen or more... musicians, balancing intricate orchestrations with brazen, emotional performances. This juggernaut is propelled by the charisma of vocalist/composer Dustin Morgan.
The 2012 release, Forgiveness is a Weapon, was met with critical acclaim. Since then, Archer Black has been performing, writing, collaborating with artists across genres and mediums. The single, Onward and Down, is featured in the award winning film In Bloom (Rediation/TLA) and the band will appear in the upcoming release The Amateur (Four LX/Bramblearch Pictures).
Archer Black is currently focused on gearing up for the release of their new EP titled, Let it Burn. While this new material maintains the sophistication of Forgiveness is a Weapon, Archer Black has turned it's focus from the esoteric toward the more visceral and immediate. Drawing from artists like The Smiths and Arcade Fire, Archer Black creates pop music with depth and honesty.
