The Cult to open for Guns N Roses for Dallas concert

Guns N’ Roses will bring their huge reunion tour to Dallas for a big show at AT&T Stadium and they have now announced their opening act for that show. Live Nation reported on Thursday that Guns N’ Roses announced that they have named The Cult as their opening act for the big Dallas show.

The interesting things that Guns N’ Roses is doing with their Not In This Lifetime Tour is having different opening acts for different tour stops. Alice in Chains will open for Guns N’ Roses at the first five tour stops, from Detroit to Chicago. Country breakout star Chris Stapleton opens for Guns N’ Roses on July 9 in Nashville, a perfect opening act for country fans who also love Guns N’ Roses.

Billy Talent opens for Guns N’ Roses in Toronto on July 16. Lenny Kravitz takes over as the opening act at Foxboro on July 19 and works four straight shows until East Rutherford. The Cult was then added as the opening act for Atlanta, Orlando, New Orleans, and the Guns N’ Roses Dallas concert. Skrillex opens for Guns N’ Roses in Houston on Aug. 5. The rest of the shows have yet to add opening acts.

The Guns N’ Roses Not In This Lifetime Tour has been selling tickets at an amazing pace. They actually added new shows in Chicago, Boston, New York City, and Los Angeles. This has been huge for old school Guns N’ Roses fans, as Axl Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan are playing together for the first time in 20 years. The rest of the band includes Dizzy Reed, Richard Fortus, Frank Ferrer, and Melissa Reese.

Guns N’ Roses has played a few shows already, including the one where Axl Rose broke his leg in Los Angeles. Since then, Axl has performed while sitting on a throne that Dave Grohl once used. Rose has sang for AC/DC on their International tour leading into the start of the Not In This Lifetime Tour, which kicks off on June 23 in Detroit.

The Guns N’ Roses Dallas concert at AT&T Stadium takes place on Aug. 3 with The Cult as the opening act. Tickets for the Guns N’ Roses concert range from $45.50 up to $250.
