Following their debut on "Conan" last night, Rooney was the musical guest on "Lopez Tonight," performing their single "I Can't Get Enough" on air and also playing "Not In Our House." Both songs are off Rooney's new album, Eureka, which the band released off their own Califormia Dreamin' Records this past summer.
Rooney has spent the majority of 2010 on the road and have just announced a handful of West Coast dates, including Nov. 20 at the Hard Rock in Las Vegas and Dec. 11 at Chain Reaction in Anaheim. All dates listed below.
Recently while out on tour, Rooney recorded some acoustic versions of their songs"Not In My House" and "Holdin' On" on their tour bus, which were exclusively featured on Baeble Music and PopMatters. Rooney is offering the track "I Don't Wanna Lose You" for free download here.
Eureka is the follow-up to Rooney's two critically acclaimed albums - Rooney and Calling The World - and sees the band showcasing their most inventive and original material to date. Produced and crafted entirely by the band, Eureka not only features with 12 impressive and infectious tracks, but spotlights the band's gift to craft intelligent and stimulating rock songs that have continually captivated both fans and critics. Developed through years of non-stop touring with artists like Kings of Leon, Weezer, The Strokes, Travis, Polyphonic Spree and Granddaddy, Rooney's irresistible songs have impacted modern rock & alternative radio stations and infiltrated video outlets such as MTV, VH1, Fuse and MTV2. Along the way, Rooney have built a fiercely loyal fan base and performed on "THE OC," "The Today Show," "The Late Show with David Letterman," "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" and "Late Night With Conan O'Brien."
