Two of alt rock’s biggest bands are joining forces for a summer tour.

Influential indie rockers Modest Mouse and popular punk band Brand New announced a co-headlining tour on Tuesday. The 24-date tour will kick off on June 28 at Saltair in Magna, Utah and wraps up with a July 31 performance at the Moda Center in Modest Mouse’s native Portland, Oregon. Check out the full list of the band’s dates below.

According to a press release, there will be no opening bands on the tour and “both bands [are] performing full headlining sets.” The tour poster indicates that the bands will alternate closing sets based on the market.

After a lengthy break following the release of We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank in 2007, Modest Mouse returned last year with Strangers To Ourselves. Brand New has been on their own hiatus, but last year shared their single “Mene” and have been performing other new songs (reportedly from their upcoming final album) while out on the road.

Presale for the joint tour is now underway, with general on sale beginning this Friday, January 29. Watch Modest Mouse perform “Coyotes” for “CBS This Morning” in the video above and check out their newly-announced tour dates below.
