Journey and The Steve Miller Band's 2015 co-headline U.S. tour launch has run afoul of bad weather. The multi-platinum pair were scheduled to kick off their 2015 U.S. tour along with special guest Tower of Power on March 5 in Austin, Texas, at Austin360 Amphitheatre.

According to a news release posted March 3 at the official website of Journey, near record- low freezing temperatures forecasted in the central Texas region have forced the veteran pair of San Francisco rockers to postpone the show. The statement also noted a concern for other hazardous weather conditions, which could impact travel and the safety of crew and fans.

The Austin show has been rescheduled for Sun., March 29. All tickets and passes for the March 5 performance will be honored on the new date. For more information, click here.

Journey are next scheduled to appear with Tower of Power (without Steve Miller) on March 6 at a sold out show on March 6 in Thackerville, Oklahoma at Winstar World Casino while The Steve Miller Band will perform solo on March 6 in Houston, Texas at USA Bayou Music Center. The iconic rockers will once again team up for the tour's next stop on March 8 in New Orleans, Louisiana, at Smoothie King Center.

The co-headline tour began back in June 2014. The 2015 U.S. leg was slated to wind up March 15 in West Palm Beach, Florida, at Cruzan Amphitheatre will now wrap up on March 29 in Austin.

Both bands will continue to be busy throughout the rest of 2015 with their solo tour schedules. Journey recently announced an extensive summer tour of Canada and will sail the high seas March 18-19 on the Carnival Live Cruise and then team up with Santana for a pair of dates March 26-27 in Mexico before making their Las Vegas debut with nine shows in Sin City at The Joint inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, which will take place between April 29 - May 16. The Steve Miller Band will kick off their summer run on May 15 in Southhaven, Massachusetts, at BankPlus Amphitheater At Snowden Grove and will wrap up July 24 in Costa Mesa, California, at Pacific Amphitheatre .
