Vogue UK reported on April 17 that Beyoncé and Jay-Z are now worth over $1 billion as a couple. The Carters were named the highest earning couple in entertainment by Forbes Magazine last year. Beyoncé married Jay-Z in 2008 and gave birth to their daughter Blue Ivy in 2012.

Beyoncé is credited by Vogue UK for helping the couple cross that rare milestone by bringing in $116 million with her “The Mrs. Carter Show” world tour and signing lucrative endorsement deals with fashion retailer H&M, and soft drink purveyor, Pepsi.

Jay-Z is far from riding off his famous wife’s coat tails though.The rapper has made millions this year from producing and featuring on Justin Timberlake’s The 20/20 Experience album, and the duo are set to tour the U.S. this summer. In addition to that, Jay-Z brings in considerable money from his shares of Roc Nation, the 40/40 nightclub, Rocawear and the Brooklyn Nets basketball team. Mr. Carter also profits off the success of Rihanna, who is signed to his Island Def Jam imprint.

The couple is sure to see their fortunes rise even further when Beyoncé drops her newest album later this year.
