The first day of Coachella featured big names and even bigger music. Grouplove, Chromeo, Girl Talk and Ellie Goulding all got a chance to take to the main stage to perform in front of thousands of pumped up fans.

Outkast took to the main stage later in the day to perform for first-day festival crowds - the first time the duo has appeared together in stage since 2006. Big Boi and Andre 3000 opened with their 2000 hit, "B.O.B." (Bombs Over Baghdad) and continued on with a set list that covered many fan favorites, including “Gasoline Dreams” and “Rosa Parks,” before showcasing some new tracks off of their double album “Speakerboxx/The Love Below.”

Other well-known names like Bastille, Broken Bells, AFI, Aloe Blacc, HAIM, The Replacements, Tom Odell and Woodkid also performed for adoring fans on day of Coachella. And newcomers like Martin Garrix and GOAT also drew in crowds.
