Ellie Goulding releases music video for new single 'Love Me Like You Do'

Two weeks ago Ellie Goulding released a free stream of her new single "Love Me Like You Do," and today (Jan. 22) the singer premiered the official music video for that song on her VEVO YouTube channel. The song is featured on the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack, and in the music video there is never before seen footage of the movie.

In less than eight hours the "Love Me Like You Do" music video has been watched almost three hundred thousand times. According to an issued press release, the video was directed by Georgia Hudson, and it was produced by Amber Millingto.

In the video Ellie Goulding walks into a mansion and begins to wander around. Between shots of Goulding walking around the mansion there is footage from the movie Fifty Shades of Grey. While in the mason Goulding meets a man and they begin to ballroom dance. That part of the video is intertwined with scenes of the movie in which the two main cast members are also ballroom dancing.

Promotion for the movie, and the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack is at an all time high. Yesterday, The Weeknd released a music video for "Earned It (Fifty Shades of Grey)." That music video has no footage of the movie, but it does feature the star of Fifty Shades of Grey Dakota Johnson.

The movie's soundtrack will be released on Feb. 11 via Republic Records. Just two days later the movie will be released in North America. In the movie Jamie Dornan portrays Christian Grey, and Dakota Johnson portrays Anastasia "Ana" Steele.
