Carrie Underwood stirs up controversy with atheists on 'Something in the Water'

Carrie Underwood has released a new song called "Something in the Water". Atheist fans are speaking out and they don't like it. Well the thing is, Underwood doesn't care what they think about it. On Monday, The Frisky shared what she had to say about their thoughts on her new song. This song is going to be on her new and upcoming greatest hits album.

If you know anything about Underwood, she has never been shy about the fact that she is very religious. One of her first hits was called "Jesus Take the Wheel". This new song is obviously very religious as well. Here is what Underwood had to say to the haters:

Country music is different. You have that Bible Belt-ness about it. I’m not the first person to sing about God, Jesus, faith [or] any of that, and I won’t be the last. And it won’t be the last for me, either. If you don’t like it, change the channel."

This song is very uplifting and one that just makes you feel generally good. Underwood is not afraid to share her religious side with her fans. The reaction from some people could even convince her to do things like this more often. Underwood even shared on "American Idol" that religion was important to her so this shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone.

Underwood is pregnant with her first child. ABC News shared that she does have one big pregnancy anxiety that is making things hard on her. A trip to Babies R Us was a little overwhelming considering there is so much stuff to buy and that you have to decide between. Luckily she has had a very easy pregnancy thus far. And we can only hope that continues.
