The Austin City Limits Festival is now less than two months away and on Monday organizers announced a series of intimate late night shows that will take place during the festival at some of Austin’s most celebrated music venues.
Beck, Rhye, Skrillex, Diplo, Jenny Lewis, Mac DeMarco, Chvrches, My Brightest Diamond and many others will be performing special late night shows at storied venues like Stubb’s, The Parish and Emo’s throughout the two weekends of ACL Fest, Oct. 3-5 and 10-12. Fans can get access to presale tickets on Thursday, Aug. 21, by signing up for the C3 Concerts E-List through Aug. 19. General onsale begins Friday, Aug. 22 at 10 a.m. CDT.
The late night performances are a natural extension of the Austin City Limits Festival, and really, the city itself. Host to the massive South by Southwest music conference and regarded as the “live music capital of the world,” Austin is rich in venues and is therefore well-equipped to handle the smaller shows that supplement the ACL Fest. With Austin’s vibrant music culture, it’s entirely possible that many of the artists playing the festival will pop up locally during the week between their performances.

As for the main course, Eminem, Outkast, Pearl Jam, Calvin Harris, Lana Del Rey and many others are scheduled to perform.
