Experience summer’s biggest celebration at MontanaFair, returning to MetraPark August 7–15!

From high-energy carnival rides to family-friendly attractions, MontanaFair offers nonstop fun for all ages. The Thomas Carnival midway brings exciting rides, classic games, and plenty of thrills, while younger fairgoers can enjoy Kid’s World, featuring entertainment in a shaded family area.

Come hungry - the fairgrounds are filled with crowd-favorite eats, from smoky BBQ and corn dogs to fresh-squeezed lemonade, roasted corn on the cob, Vikings on a Stick, sweet treats, and local beer gardens. Every day of the fair features free entertainment, including live music, comedy acts, children’s performers, specialty shows, draft horses, and more — all included with gate admission. Whether you’re making family memories, catching a concert, enjoying fair food, or taking in the midway lights, MontanaFair is the place to celebrate summer in Billings.

Taking place August 7–15, 2026, the fair features everything from livestock exhibitions and family attractions to thrilling midway rides and classic fair food. The Thomas Carnival fills the midway with exciting rides, games, and attractions for all ages, while nightly entertainment keeps the energy going long after sunset.
