Those that won't be able to see Modest Mouse live in concert this spring might get to in the fall. Yesterday the band announced a fall leg for their headlining tour, which will have them out on the road until October.
Modest Mouse's 2017 tour will now wrap up with a two-night event at The Capitol Theater in Port Chester, N.Y. Since most of their spring shows are already sold out, fans won't want to wait when it comes to getting tickets. The pre-sale begins today, at 10 a.m. local time.
Tickets will go on sale to the public this Friday, May 12 at 10 a.m. local time. For select concerts, tickets can be bought through the links below or via AXS here. Links to buy tickets for all other shows can be found here.
Who's going on tour with Modest Mouse this fall? On Sept. 21 Built to Spill is going to open the show at the Washington State Fair. At their Sept. 30 show at the Breese Stevens Field, Gogol Bordello will open the concert. The opening band for the rest of Modest Mouse's fall dates have yet to be announced.
Modest Mouse's latest studio album, Strangers to Ourselves came out back in March 2015. It was the band's first full-length release since 2007's We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank. They have been working on new material, but there's been no news on where the band is in the recording process.
