Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Luis Fonsi released a new version of his hit "Despacito" on April 16. Canadian superstar Justin Bieber joins him and Daddy Yankee on a surprise remix.

Fonsi and Daddy Yankee premiered "Despacito" (English: "Slowly") back in January and it's been a massive comeback hit for Luis. The single blends Fonsi's Latin pop flavor with Yankee's reggaeton edge. Tropical beats back the duo as they detail their ideal night with a lover. Luis and Yankee sell the nice and slow route on this irresistible and rhythmic romp.

Bieber unexpectedly joins the party on the remix of "Despacito" with Fonsi and Daddy Yankee. Much of the original production is maintained with Justin contributing a new, breathy verse. "Come and move that in my direction / So thankful for that / It's such a blessing," he sings. Surprisingly, Bieber also croons the sexy chorus in Spanish alongside Luis. With Justin in the mix, Fonsi and Yankee's "Despacito" has more global reach that can translate into some crossover success.

The "Despacito" remix featuring Bieber is now available on iTunes and Apple Music. No word yet about Fonsi's follow-up to 2014's 8 album.
