Rockers Pierce the Veil are set to kick off leg two of their uber-successful co-headlining tour with Sleeping with Sirens later this month. This 30-date tour will start with a show in San Diego, Pierce the Veil's hometown, before moving on to Chicago (Aragon), Philadelphia (Electric Factory) and Atlanta (Tabernacle) the following month.
Pierce the Veil performed near 300 shows in 2013 and they have taken what they learned from those performances, and their fans, into the studio to work on their next album, which is expected to be released later this year. “We try to stay focused on writing and recording songs that we're happy with, that we like, songs that will be fun to play live and that our fans will want to sing along with, songs that offer a little something different, but are all still very much Pierce The Veil songs," vocalist Vic Fuentes said at the time of the new album's announcement. Their previous release, 2012's Collide with the Sky, was a critical and commercial hit, debuting at No. 12 on the Billboard Top 200 chart.
While Pierce the Veil have had a great deal of success with their recorded material, the live stage is where these post-hardcore rockers truly thrive. Tickets for leg one of The World Tour with Sleeping with Sirens went fast with nearly 100 percent of the shows selling out. Connecting with their audiences is a cornerstone of Pierce the Veil's music and performing style. It's no wonder that fans flock to venues all over the world when the “King for a Day” musicians come to town.
Sleeping with Sirens are the perfect counterpart for Pierce the Veil on this cant-miss tour. Their latest single “Kick Me” has been soaring up the rock charts with Kellin Quinn's defiant vocals sounding better than ever. Sleeping with Sirens are also expected to release a new album, with their new label Epitaph, in 2015.
