Jesse Baez

Jesse Baez, born in Chicago and raised in Guatemala, has charted a musical journey infused with a fusion of diverse influences, a captivating narrative, and an unwavering pursuit of innovative sounds. Recognized as a pioneer in contemporary Spanish-language R&B, he now stands as one of the genre’s leading figures.

His solo debut came in 2016, and since then, Jesse has graced the stages of renowned festivals across the Americas and Spain, including iconic events such as Lollapalooza in Chicago and Argentina, Sónar, Estéreo Picnic, and Coca-Cola FlowFest. In April 2022, Jesse released his debut album, Amor en Español, sparking excitement in the international music scene. In November 2024, his second album, HENRY, was unveiled, featuring singles like “Persona Favorita” with LATIN MAFIA and “Hablas.” The album also marked Baez’s debut as a producer and was praised for his ability to tell moving stories through captivating lyrics, blending diverse elements to create what he describes as “romantic songs in Spanish.”
