Jim Jefferies adds additional 2017 tour dates
Jim Jefferies

Jim Jefferies spent the summer traveling across the U.S. and UK on his Freedumb Tour, as well as alongside Jeff Ross, Sebastian Maniscalco, Iliza Shlesinger and more on the Oddball Comedy and Curiosity Festival Tour. The hilarity is set to continue throughout the fall and winter – and well into 2017 – as he has announced additional tour dates for his Unusual Punishment Tour in the coming months.

The Australian stand-up comedian will be traveling to Chicago – where he will perform at the Chicago Theatre on Jan. 27 – and New York City for a performance at the iconic Beacon Theatre. Vancouver, Atlanta, Washington DC and other great cities are also in store for some hilarious stand-up sets from Jefferies in 2017.

The new year also finds Jefferies heading to New Zealand to make up for his delayed October tour, which he had to postpone due to a schedule conflict during which he was filming a new TV pilot. Existing tickets will be honored for the rescheduled performances and the venue locations will remain the same. “I'd like to apologize to everyone in New Zealand who purchased tickets to see me in October. I've had to move the dates to January,” he stated on Twitter at the time of the cancellation.

Prior to dropping “Freedumb” on Netflix this July, Jefferies teamed-up with the streaming service for his 2014 release, “Bare.” His other hilarious stand-up specials include “Fully Functional,” “Alcoholocaust” and “I Swear to God.” He starred in the FX series, “Legit,” from 2013-2014 and “And Punching the Clown,” “Me and My Mates vs. The Zombie Apocalypse” and “the Librarians” are a few other projects featured on Jefferies' filmography.

Jefferies has performed at many notable comedy festivals including “Edinburgh Fringe, Just for Laughs, Cape Town Comedy Festival and many more. He is also prominent on a variety of radio programs like “BBC Radio 5 Live's Saturday Morning Sports Show” and “Fighting Talk.”
