We know Rock on the Range isn’t short on high profile rock bands, but the festival still made room for a little hip-hop this year. On Friday (May 20), rapper Machine Gun Kelly showed festival-goers he can rock just as hard as the bands on the lineup.

Over the past few years Kelly has built a cult-like following with his unselfconscious music, party vibes, and on-stage antics. The Ohio native celebrated his homecoming by showcasing his signature performance style.

Kelly rocked hits like “Bad Mother F*cker” and “Sail” before pleasing the fist-pumping crowd with a cover of Blink 182’s “All the Small Things.” Soon after, he would strip off his blazer, chug from a bottle of Jameson, and climb the lighting rigs, while pumping out his key songs “Mind of a Stoner,” “Wild Boy” and “Till I Die.”

Check out the slideshow of Machine Gun Kelly’s performance by photographers Amy Harris and Daniel DeSlover above. And for more coverage of Rock on the Range, keep it it here on AXS.com.
