Indie rock is said to be an acquired taste, but bands such as Walk The Moon welcome all ears and often turn many their way. At the Firefly Music Festival on Friday, the band welcomed in fans new and old, and once all was said and done, they ended up with a much bigger fan-base than before.

Most of their set in the early evening on The Lawn Stage consisted of songs from their newest album "Talking Is Hard" which was released last year. "Different Colors" is their latest released single and the psychedelic pulsating rhythms had the entire field full of fans in an absolute frenzy.

The hit of the set had to be "Shut Up and Dance" though, and it's still pulling in a lot of attention. Walk The Moon is going big-time places, and their performance at Firefly only made that truer than before.
