In preparation for the 2014-15 ECHL season, the Gwinnett Gladiators have added defensemen Tristin Llewellyn and Art Bidlevskii, as well as forward Will Frederick to the club. Llewellyn and Bidlevskii have played with the Gladiators previously, while Frederick will be playing with Gwinnett for the first time this season.
Llewellyn rejoins the Gladiators after a season with the Rapid City Rush of the Central Hockey League. In four professional seasons, Llewellyn has totaled 12 goals and 54 assists (66 points) over 193 games.
Bidlevskii played in 17 games for the Gladiators last season after being signed in January. This will be his third pro season, and he has tallied three goals and 11 assists in 107 games.
Frederick played in 145 games for the Golden Knights of Clarkson University, lighting the lamp 20 times with 39 helpers in his four years on the team. Then made his professional debut for the Utah Grizzlies at the conclusion of his senior season with Clarkson, playing in two games. He also played in two games with the Elmira Jackals before the end of the year.
Since July, Gwinnett has added forwards Marshall Everson, Randy Cameron, Casey Pierro-Zabotel, Brenden Walker, Nathan Burns, Anthony Perdicaro, and Sean Berkstresser, as well as defensemen Daniel Spivak Joe Stejskal, Tony DeHart, Bo Dolan, Bretton Cameron, and goaltender Mark Guggenberger.
Gwinnett will open their 12th season at the Arena at Gwinnett Center with the team’s Home Opener on October 24th against the Wheeling Nailers.
The Gladiators are members of the ECHL, the nation’s premier "AA" hockey league and are affiliated with the Arizona Coyotes of the NHL. All home games are played at the 11,355-seat Arena at Gwinnett Center, located just off I-85 on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth, Ga.
