SiriusXM has announced that the hilarious and talented comedian, Gabriel Iglesias, has signed on to its Raw Dog Comedy channel to host an exclusive weekly comedy series entitled, “Gabriel Iglesias' Stand-Up Revolution Radio.” The new radio show will feature “Fluffy” introducing listeners to some of his favorite up-and-coming comedians from his Comedy Central series, “Stand-Up Revolution.”

Nick Guerra, Carlos Oscar, Ian Bagg and more stand-up comics are set to be featured on the program, which will air on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. ET on SiriusXM channel 99. The program is joining the satellite radio service's already impressive comedy lineup which includes such programs as Jamie Foxx's “The Foxxhole,” “Jeff & Larry's Comedy Roundup,” “Comedy Central Radio,” “Carlin's Corner” and more.

"This is an exciting day where we can now bring the Revolution to life every week on air with SiriusXM," said Iglesias in a statement. "It's a wonderful opportunity to introduce audiences to new, hilarious comedians as well as featuring some of my favorite comics." SiriusXM's President and Chief Content Officer, Scott Greenstein, echoed Iglesias' enthusiasm stating, “Gabriel is bringing some of the freshest comics working today to our Raw Dog Comedy channel, and we are happy to be the radio home of his stand-up revolution.”

In other Iglesias news, the “Fluffy” comedian has secured a put pilot deal with ABC. According to Deadline, the arrangement will find him writing and starring in a new, multi-camera comedy series. The show will be inspired by Iglesias' life and comedy including the challenges of balancing home life with a busy touring schedule. ABC previously worked with the comedian on the short-lived sitcom “Cristela,” on which he had a recurring role.

Since gaining mainstream attention as a contestant on “Last Comic Standing” in 2006, Iglesias has risen to the top of the comedy community as one of the most popular touring acts for fans of all ages. He even appeared on this year's Forbes Highest Paid Comedians List, alongside the likes of Jerry Seinfeld, Kevin Hart and Aziz Ansari. Iglesias currently has tour dates scheduled in New York and Los Angeles, as well as multiple performances set for the Mirage Casino in Las Vegas in 2016.
