December may be known for holiday fun, family parties and exchanging gifts, but this year December is all about the laughs as several top comedians are performing across the country. Whether you are a fan of family-friendly humor, improv-based comedy or downright debauchery, one of these hilarious acts will inject your holiday season with lots of laughs.
Trailer Park Boys
Ricky, Julian, Bubbles, Randy and Mr. Lahey are all coming together this December for a very special Trailer Park Boys holiday tour entitled the Dear Santa Claus Go F**k Yourself tour. This comedy experience finds Bubbles trying to share the true meaning of Christmas as Julian tries to cash in on the festivities and Ricky seeks out to meet Old Saint Nick. The Trailer Park Boys will be spreading holiday cheer in the U.S. and Canada throughout the end of the year before kicking off the Still Drunk, High & Unemployed Tour in 2015.
Earlier this year, Jim Jefferies released his hilarious comedy special “Bare” on Netflix and he also participated in the star-studded Oddball Comedy Festival Tour. Now, fans can see this Australian funnyman on his own solo tour, which includes several East Coast stops during the month of December.
For years John Oliver has been known as Jon Stewart's right-hand man on “The Daily Show,” but on April 27, 2014 Oliver stepped into the spotlight as host of HBO's new satirical news show “Last Week Tonight.” In the passing months, Oliver has shared his unique take on political and world events with his irreverent wit and dry British sarcasm. Don't miss the chance to see Oliver perform live when he visits Georgia, New York and Massachusetts throughout the month of December.
Sasheer Zamata has been making a name for herself on “Saturday Night Live” with her hilarious humor and spot-on impressions of everyone from Michelle Obama to Rihanna. While the late-night sketch comedy show keeps Zamata busy, she will be performing improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York, with her improv team Bucky, this December, as well as performing stand-up at Zanies in Chicago on Dec. 30.
Gabriel Iglesias is on track to become the biggest name in comedy. This year alone he released his incredibly funny film “Gabriel Iglesias' Fluffy Movie,” appeared in the new sitcom “Cristela” and toured non-stop, many times performing multiple nights in each city due to his immense popularity. This December, Iglesias is continuing his world tour with stops in Rosemont, Anaheim and Los Angeles.
