His bands are recognized as pre-eminent contemporary jazz ensembles that offer limitless connections, and his groups can crisscross the oceans in the course of a song. As a pianist/composer/singer, Freddie Ravel redefines the term “artist.” He is more than an artist; a sonic stylist, who alternates between storytelling and organic creative expression using the tonalities that appeal to the mind, body and soul.

Freddie Ravel’s most recent recording If Music Could Speak, serves as a connector through the world’s disparate music scenes due to its assortment of music styles which includes holiday, spoken word, smooth jazz, Latin, and world music. The live recording was created when Ravel accepted several invitations to perform for the Hour of Power television shows that were broadcast worldwide from the famed Crystal Cathedral during 2012 and 2013. If Music Could Speak spawned two major hits for Ravel when the first two singles released from the album--“Call of the Bells” and “Jingle Bells ala Bossa”—landed on Billboard’s #1 Most Added two weeks in a row December 2014. The third single, “Blissin’” will be released to Smooth Jazz radio on March 9, 2015. The song features Earth Wind and Fire bassist Verdine White and the 90-member strong Hour of Power Orchestra and has already garnered critical acclaim as a “song that is uplifting, joyful, spiritual, funky and jazzy, with a vibe that kicks.”

Freddie Ravel is now managed by ELEV8 Global Entertainment, the same team that represents Yanni. Ravel’s company – The Music of Business – continues to offer his corporate clients Ravel’s expertise as the “Keynote Maestro” that is, a speaker and master performer.
