Contrary to our long-held suspicions, it appears that Kris Myers is indeed human. Everyone who has seen UM perform knows that Kris leaves his heart on stage and punishes dominates the drum kit every show. After over two decades of taking a beating, the drums have conspired to strike back. Kris will undergo shoulder surgery in the coming weeks and will be out of action this fall as he rehabilitates and recuperates (more from KM below). We will miss our anchor and are grateful that some friends have graciously offered to help temporarily fill in. We are pleased to share that Duane Trucks (Widespread Panic), Ben Atkind (Goose), Jeremy Salken (Big Gigantic), and Jason Bonham will be joining UM for some upcoming dates. In addition, you can expect Jake Cinninger and Andy Farag to spend a little time behind the kit to help round things out. Show less
