Chloe Bailey, known mononymously as Chlöe, rose to fame as a member of the critically acclaimed musical duo Chloe x Halle. In 2021, she stepped into the spotlight with her hit solo single, “Have Mercy,” which débuted on the Billboard Hot 100 giving the singer her first solo Platinum certification. She debuted the single with a show-stopping performance at the MTV Video Music Awards. Last summer, Bailey released her follow-up single, “Surprise,” which set the music industry ablaze after she performed the song on the 2022 BET Awards and shortly thereafter was trending on social media world-wide. Chlöe is gearing up to release her debut album In Pieces on March 31st. As an actor, she most recently appeared in the film “Jane,” starring Madelaine Petsch and Oscar-winner Melissa Leo. She has other film projects yet to come. Most recently she kicked off her Sunday shoes with Pepsi for the company’s newest commercial celebrating the limited edition return of Pepsi-Cola Soda Shop with a modern twist. In the Hannah Luxe Davis-directed, Sean Bankhead-choreographed advertisement, the 24-year-old superstar turns up the party in a stuffy, retro-style diner — hopping up on the counter to perform a R&B-tinged rendition of “Footloose” from the beloved 1984 film. The commercial made its debut during an episode of Saturday Night Live.
