Bio: Van Morrison

Following government measures in response to the Covid-19 epidemic, the upcoming Heritage Live shows planned for this summer at Kenwood House and Audley End House & Gardens have been rescheduled to new dates for 2021 where possible, with some unfortunately having to be cancelled.
Heritage Live’s first priority is always the health, safety and wellbeing of our concert goers as well as our staff. Given the current unprecedented period of uncertainty and the recent ban on all public gatherings of more than two people, we  cannot continue to press ahead with Heritage Live this year, and wish to do all we can to support the government’s continued efforts to limit the impact of Covid-19.
While we do very much hope that the situation in the UK will have improved by the summer, recent social distancing measures will impact on this crucial organisational stage of the concerts, with our crew and staff unable to conduct essential and regular site-visits with our numerous suppliers. We have also taken into consideration the unnecessary impact we would have on future ticket buyers and our partners, suppliers and traders by continuing to plan for these events, only to be forced to cancel at a later date.
As well as this, during this period of national emergency, independent medical companies are rightly being drafted in to support the National Health Service; we would be unable to safely go ahead with our Heritage Live concerts this year without their incredible and necessary services.

We therefore announce the following rescheduled shows / cancellations:
At Kenwood House on London’s Hampstead Heath, David Rodigan & The Outlook Orchestra will now perform on Friday 18th June 2021, whilst Nile Rodgers & Chic has been rescheduled for Saturday 19th June 2021.
Regrettably, Party on the Heath with Pride In London, due to take place on Thursday 18th June 2020, and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, due to perform on Sunday 21st June 2020, are unable to be rescheduled for 2021.
At Audley End House & Gardens in Saffron Walden, Essex, Van Morrison plus very special guests The Waterboys, will now take place on Saturday 14th August 2021.
Customer’s tickets will remain valid for the re-arranged dates in 2021.
For events that have regrettably been cancelled, contact your point of purchase for a refund.
All of us at the Heritage Live Team would like to send our sincerest apologies to all those who’ve bought a ticket to one of the events it has proved impossible to reschedule, and the disappointment that this will undoubtedly cause.
We do however look forward to welcoming attendees for the rescheduled events to these beautiful venues in 2021 where we can promise to bring you once-in-a-lifetime concerts we can all come together for.

Fri 18th June 2021 - David Rodigan & The Outlook Orchestra plus special guests & full supporting line-up
Sat 19th June 2021 - Nile Rodgers & CHIC plus support
Sat 14th August 2021 – Van Morrison + The Waterboys

Bio: The Waterboys

One of the finest British/Irish bands of the last fifty years return to North America this Fall in support of their brilliant new album WHERE THE ACTION IS, already described by influential UK music mag MOJO as "joyous...audacious..miraculous".  The band, led as ever by mercurial Scottish singer/guitarist Mike Scott, have honed their sound into a formidable synthesis of rock'n'roll, soul, funk, gospel, folk and pop, potent on record, explosive on stage. And influential. Their songs have been performed by Prince, Rod Stewart, Tom Jones, Mandy Moore, The War On Drugs, Bono, Glen Hansard, Steve Earle, Dawes and many other discerning artists.

The last time they toured America, in 2015, they supported their killer southern rock album MODERN BLUES, cut in Nashville with players from Muscle Shoals, Texas and Memphis, several of whom joined the band.  This time around the line-up is British (Scott and ace drummer Ralph Salmins), Irish (electric fiddler Steve Wickham, funkmeister bassist Aongus Ralston) and Memphian (Grammy-nominated producer and keyboard wizard Brother Paul Brown). They will recast songs from all periods of the band's career, drawing from the early classic albums This Is The Sea and Fisherman's Blues, right up to their recent run of on-fire releases. Expect performance, excitement, surprises, attitude and songwriting as good as any found anywhere today.
