Dan + Shay’s mark upon country music – and beyond – continues to grow. Earlier this year, they took home a third consecutive GRAMMY for Best Country Duo/Group Performance, making them the first artist to do so 3x consecutively since the category’s inception (2021 – “10,000 Hours,” 2020 – “Speechless,” 2019 – “Tequila”), and have garnered more than eight billion global career streams. The reigning 3x ACM Awards and 2x CMA Awards Duo of the Year also recently claimed Best Duo/Group of the Year at the 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards as the only country act in the category and swept their 2020 American Music Awards categories, becoming the first country artist ever to win Collaboration of the Year. The duo will return to the road on their explosive and highly anticipated headlining Dan + Shay The (Arena) Tour in September, stretching across 30+ dates.
Now, Dan + Shay are gearing up to release their highly anticipated fourth studio album Good Things, available everywhere August 13. The album has already shattered records with the its first single, the 4x Platinum multi-week No. 1 hit “10,000 Hours” (with Justin Bieber). With nearly two billion global streams, “10,000 Hours” became the biggest first-week streaming total in country music history, earning over four million U.S. track equivalents to date. Their latest No.1, Platinum-certified single “I Should Probably Go To Bed” marked their fifth consecutive chart-topper and has achieved 300+ million streams globally. Dan + Shay are rapidly approaching Top 5 on the country charts with “Glad You Exist,” a message of hope and gratitude to their fans. The track was recently RIAA Gold-certified, has accumulated 800,000 track equivalents so far and was most added at country radio for two weeks upon impact.
The duo’s Platinum-certified self-titled album included global hit “Tequila" (6x Platinum and more than 1.2 billion global streams), multi-format hit “Speechless” (5x Platinum and more than 1.1 billion global streams), and No.1 country song “All To Myself" (2x Platinum). In the eight years since they formed, Dan + Shay have accumulated 39 total RIAA certifications and achieved eight No. 1 singles at country radio.
