As part of his Passion Soul & Fire CD Release Tour, David M’ore will perform at The Pocket in Santa Cruz, California on Saturday, June 4, 2016. Fresh off a recent appearance at Downtown Joe’s in Napa, California, M’ore will take the stage at 9 p.m. The doors will open at 8 p.m. For any AXS readers who have still not perused the plethora of previously published pieces on performer David M’ore, get on that. In the meantime though, here is the skinny on the entertainer in question:
David M’ore is a California-based musician, singer and songwriter. Also an ex-member of the disbanded band Blind Hole, the guitarist more recently scored a Sacramento Music Award. His tuneful trademark is a mix of multiple music genres including (but not necessarily limited to) the blues, R&B and rock and roll.
M’ore’s musical influences include a number of other performers such as Stevie Ray Vaughan, Albert King, Deep Purple, Joe Satriani, Led Zeppelin, Johnny Winter, Alvin Lee, Gary Moore, Jimi Hendrix and blues music in general. M’ore’s most recent release is titled Passion, Soul, & Fire (and was previously reviewed here on AXS.) His next stop is The Pocket in Santa Cruz, California.
M’ore appears to be excited about the upcoming show. In a personal e-mail he commented on the gig. He said:
“"It's always a pleasure and also a privilege, to play in Santa Cruz, a town which has some of the most passionate music fans on the California coast. And they really appreciate great music and musicians, at The Pocket."
Tickets for this David M’ore concert at The Pocket (located at 3102 Portola Drive in Santa Cruz) are $5.00. Tickets may be available at the door. Further information on this appearance can be found here at the venue’s official website.
