Cigarettes After Sex map out extensive tour

Five years after their debut EP, it appears that Cigarettes After Sex fans have finally received their wish: their debut feature length album will be out next month. Ahead of the debut, the ambient pop group has released the dreamy single "Each Time You Fall In Love," which songwriter Greg Gonzalez explained to Billboard was about his constant longing for something better in every relationship. Alongside the single came the announcement of an extensive tour coming this fall, which will have them stopping at such popular venues as Denver's Bluebird Theater on Sept. 19 and NYC's Bowery Ballroom on Oct. 7. Tickets to the shows will go on sale May 19, and the band has announced over Twitter that this will be it for the rest of the year, so if you are wanting to see them you'd best not miss one of these shows.

Part of Cigarettes After Sex's unique styling includes having never released a music video or picture of themselves as a band, as well as limiting the imagery they put out to black and whites with a sense of eroticism. This deliberate choice has been a part of Gonzalez' effort to only associate strong imagery with his band, and it has worked, giving them an illusion of mystery that goes along perfectly with their relaxing, dreamscape tracks.
