Church Tongue drops new video for 'Acid Jesus'
Blood & Ink Records

Describing Indiana's hardcore/metalcore unit Church Tongue as being "on fire" does actually go farther than that lone incident of their guitarist setting himself on fire for a show. Still riding high on the release of their debut studio album, Heart Failure, in 2016, Church Tongue is actually picking up speed while plowing ahead into the new year.

In addition to a North American tour scheduled to kick off mid-April in Springfield, MO., Church Tongue has also just dropped a sizzling hot new video for their song "Acid Jesus" appearing on the new album. Having made its premier on Revolver, Church Tongue vocalist Michael Sugars explained, "At one point in time, I had tried to kill myself, and soon after I wrote this song."

Sugars went on to say: "I had lost faith in a lot of things, and thought maybe all I had was myself. I've had time to heal, and wrestle with myself since then. This song is what remains of that time of my life." Hard-hitting and powerful, click here to check out the new video for "Acid Jesus" now.
