SBS Entertainment (Spanish Broadcasting System Entertainment), AEG Live and Mega 96.3 FM have once again rounded up 10 Latin artists that will meet up in California for another year of Calibash. The best artists of the moment representing different genres and mix of music and those that have emerged all of a sudden successfully in the Latin music industry will perform for their fans at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, Calif. on Saturday January 24, 2015.
The 2015 Calibash concert will feature performances by American-Cuban Pitbull aka Mr. Worldwide and Mr. 305; Colombian artists Carlos Vives with his vallenato/rock, Maluma with his reggaeton; from Puerto Rico representing the reggaeton, hip-hop, and pop genres Don Omar, Tego Calderon, Wisin, Plan B, Farruko, and J Alvarez. From Cuba, the overnight sensation group Gente de Zona is sure to hit it off with their number one top chart “Bailando” and Colombian 3BallMTY with their electronic blends of pre-Colombian, African music and Cumbia.
In previous years of Calibash concerts performers have been Chris Brown, Pitbull, Daddy Yankee, Don Omar, Wisin y Yandel, Prince Royce, Alexis y Fido, Ivy Queen, Tito “El Bambino”, 50 Cent, Leslie Grace, Sky Blu, and LMFAO, among others have performed.
Tickets for Calibash go on sale this Friday, Nov. 21 starting at noon and presales are as follows Mega 96.3 FM starts Tuesday, Nov. 19 using code/password MEGA and on Wednesday, Nov 19 at 10:00 a.m. PST another presale on AXS here.
