Barclays Center to host Ruff Ryders Reunion Tour

Brooklyn’s Barclays Center will host the Ruff Ryders and Friends – Reunion Tour – Past, Present and Future, featuring DMX and Eve, on Friday, April 21. The 7:30 p.m. performance, which celebrates the Ruff Ryders’ 20th anniversary, will also include Swizz Beatz, The Lox, and Drag-On.

Earl Simmons, a.k.a. DMX, is best known for the late ‘90s hits "Ruff Ryders Anthem,” “Party Up (Up in Here),” and “What’s My Name.” Undisputed, the rapper’s latest album, was released in September 2012 through Seven Arts Music. The album, which features the singles “I Don’t Dance” and “Head Up,” debuted at No. 19 on the Billboard 200.

Grammy Award-winning rapper, actress, and fashion designer Eve is perhaps best known for the singles “Let Me Blow Ya Mind” with Gwen Stefani and “Love Is Blind” with Faith Evans. Lip Lock, Eve’s first release in over a decade was released in May 2013 through From The Rib and RED Distribution. The album, which features guest appearances from Gabe Saporta, Missy Elliott, Snoop Dogg and more, peaked at No. 26 on the Billboard 200. Two singles were released from Lip Lock: “Make It Out This Town” and “Eve.”

New York City’s Swizz Beatz, born Kasseem Dean, has produced hits for several notable musicians throughout his career, including: DMX, Eve, Jay-Z, Beyoncé, T.I., Busta Rhymes and more. The hip hop star released his debut LP, One Man Band Man, in August 2007 through Full Surface and Universal Motown Records. The album, which features guest spots from R. Kelly, Jadakiss, Lil Wayne and more, includes the singles “Money in the Bank” and “Top Down.”

East Coast hip hop trio, The Lox, released their first album in 16 years, Filth America… It’s Beautiful, in December 2016 via D-Block Records and Roc Nation.

Mel Jason Smalls, better known to his fans has Drag-On, released his third album, Hood Environment, in September 2007 via T.R.U.S.T. Family.
