Los Horóscopos de Durango is nowadays one of the most loved groups in the Regional Mexican genre, considered one of the icons of the Duranguense wave. The story of this successful group was started by Dn. Armando Terrazas almost three decades ago in Chicago; nowadays, headed by Vicky and Marisol Terrazas, along with Leo Terrazas (Vocals and sax), Oscar Ponce (Tamboron, keyboards), Hector Arreguin (Vocals/Tambora), Roberto Marin (Keyboard Tuba-Charcheta), Martin Alonso Leyva (2nd. Sax) and Hector Villaseñor (Drums) constitute this young and talented group with undeniable successes all throughout Mexico and the United States.
Some of their achievements are: Winners of 3 Billboard Awards 2005 {Regional Mexican Album of the Year, Most air-played song in the Regional Mexican genre and Regional Mexican Song of the Year}, Nominated for the Album of de Year 2005 Latin Grammys, Winners of 2 Billboard Awards in 2006 {Regional Mexican Album of the Year and Regional Mexican Song of the Year}, Nominated Album of the Year 2004 Latin Grammy Awards, Nominated in three categories for Premios Que Buena 2004, and more recently, nominated in 2 categories for the Latin Billboard Awards 2007 {Album of the Year, Regional Mexican and Song of the Year, Femenine Group}
