The Atlanta Gladiators have momentum on their side as they get prepared to host the South Carolina Stingrays at the Infinite Energy Arena in Duluth, GA in ECHL action on Wednesday. The Gladiators have won their last two games--a 5-4 win over the Greenville Swamp Rabbits on Sunday and another 5-4 win over the Norfolk Admirals on Monday.

In the Gladiators' win over the Swamp Rabbits, Mark Naclerio of Milford, Connecticut led the Gladiators' offensive attack with three points (two goals and one assist). In the Gladiators' win over the Admirals, Naclerio once again produced admirably offensively as he scored twice.

This was only the third time this season that the Gladiators have won two consecutive games on the road. On Oct. 28 and Oct. 29, the Gladiators won two straight games in Orlando against the Solar Bears by scores of 5-3 and 8-2. Then on Nov. 12, the Gladiators beat the Admirals 4-3 before beating the Reading Royals 7-6 on Nov. 13.

The Gladiators currently are in sixth place in the ECHL's south division with 60 points. Their leading scorer at the moment is Derek Nesbitt of Seaforth, Ontario. Nesbitt leads the Gladiators this season with 27 goals and 52 points. Justin Buzzeo had 56 points earlier this season with the Gladiators, but now plays for the Solar Bears. Meanwhile, Gladiators forward Alex Gacek has 52 points this season, but only 11 points has come with Atlanta as 41 points came with the Stingrays and Solar Bears.
