Asking Alexandria is celebrating the release of their brand new album The Black with a new 2016 North American tour. Concert Fix reported on Thursday that Asking Alexandria will hit Dallas on this tour with a Nov. 27 stop at The Bomb Factory. Joining Asking Alexandria on the 10 Years in the Black Tour are Born of Osiris, I See Stars, After the Burial, Upon a Burning body, and Bad Omens.
The Asking Alexandria Dallas concert is one of three straight to hit Texas on the 10 Years in the Black Tour. The tour will hit Houston on Nov. 25 at the Ballroom at Warehouse Live and then move on to Corpus Christi on Nov. 26 for a concert at the Old Concrete Street Amphitheater, before hitting Dallas one night later.
The 10 Years in the Black tour kicks off on Oct. 25 in Seattle, Washington, and will hit 31 cities along the way. Major tour stops include Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas, and more. They will also move north into Canada on the tour as well. It all wraps up on Dec. 4 in San Francisco, California.
The Black is the fourth album from Asking Alexandria, and the first since their original lead singer Danny Worsnop left the band. The reason for Worsnop leaving the band was because he wanted to focus on his other band, We Are Harlot, and Asking Alexandria replaced him with a new singer, claiming that Worsnop lost the desire to perform the music that made Asking Alexandria famous.
Denis Stoff was named the new lead singer in 2015 and the band recorded their new album The Black, which they released in March. The new album reached ninth on the Billboard 200, lower than their final album with Worsnop, but it also was their highest ranking album in the U.K. Of the three singles released so far from the new album, both “I Won’t Give In” and “Here I Am” were both top 20 hits.
The Asking Alexandria Dallas concert takes place on Nov. 27 at The Bomb Factory. Tickets are $25 in advance and tickets are available through AXS. Joining Asking Alexandria for the 10 Years in the Black Tour are Bad Omens, Born of Osiris, Upon a Burning Body, I See Stars, and After the Burial The concert kicks off at 6 p.m. CST with doors opening at 5:30 the night of the show.
