JackLaugh is a 4-piece alternative rock band based out of St. Paul, Minnesota. The band originated with two brothers, Troy and Trent Nelson, guitarists, vocalists, and songwriters with a passion to share their music. In 2007, bass guitarist, Jarrett Krensing joined the Nelson brothers. The band was complete in 2008 when drummer Tyler Schuldt (Stix) came aboard.

Troy Nelson is an accomplished guitarist and graduate of St. Paul's McNally Smith College of Music. His brother, Trent Nelson, not only plays lead and rhythm guitar, but also displays his talent on the harmonica--adding to the JackLaugh sound. Both Troy and his brother Trent are talented songwriters and have used their talents in writing the many original JackLaugh songs. Jarrett Krensing, whose bass guitar style is a perfect fit for the band, is known for connecting with the audience with his on-stage wit and humor. Jarrett also studied at the McNally Smith College of Music where he met another McNally student, drummer Tyler Schuldt. Tyler was the last member to join the band and is a skilled and talented drummer. Whether performing rock or acoustic, Tyler adds the finishing touch by mixing his drumming with the guitars and vocals to create the outcome of a unique and entertaining JackLaugh sound.

JackLaugh's music is written with lyrics expressing feelings and experiences you can easily relate to, and has a melody and beat that will have you singing with the band. JackLaugh just finished their debut studio album "I Want Easy" which is now available at shows, The Electric Fetus and at McNally Smith College of Music!
